Any difference between the 16K Donkey Kong cartridge that works on Atari 400 and the one mentioned above?
ApolloBoy
So all those require 64K? Not many of the XE carts actually require 64K, most will run fine with either 32K or 48K, and a select few (mainly Donkey Kong, Eastern Front 1941, Necromancer and Star Raiders II) will run fine on 16K. qix_maniac
Is that it? I thought there was more than that, oh qix_maniac you forgot one XE cart "Xenophobe" just cause video 61 can "burn" any old game doesn't make it original...was xenophobe ever released for xe or 8bit on cart? Donkey Kong XE is exactly the same I belive...except it has pretty lable in xe case ...but i'm no expert...

manopac
I know that Bug Hunt was a pack-in, but was the cart version of FS II ever released boxed? I still second that question for Bug Hunt ... was it available boxed for the XE Computers, as it was not a pack-in with those ?
SpaceDice2010
Anyone have an idea of the average value of each of these games. There are a few that I need that seem rather rarer than others. Would be nice to have a rough estimate of each carts value.

Supergun
Hello, I have a trade proposal for anyone following this thread and/or those here who collect the blue XE cartridges. I only collect loose cartridges. I recently acquired the following 9 games, all of them complete. (unopened / sealed) I am looking to "trade-down" all 9 of these games. In other words, I am looking for someone who wants/needs the complete games and can trade me the loose cartridge & some cash. (loose cartridge must be in at least good condition with no rips or tears on the label) I am not in a huge hurry per say, but I would like to get this done within a couple of weeks time. If I find that I get no replies or interests, I will just slice open the seals, retrieve my loose carts from inside the boxes, and then toss the empty boxes/manuals on ebay. (I don't want to be sitting on them for months either) Air Ball Choplifter Crime Buster Crossbow Into The Eagles Nest Karateka Mario Brothers Summer Games Thunder Fox Alright well anyone interested can pm me. Thanks!
rexreed
I just picked up a football cart with the silver label but in the plastic grey cartridge. I wonder what the box would have looked like. +orpheuswaking
http://orph.atarinet.com/photos/main.php?g2_itemId=2333 Like the box in this photo. Both of my carts are shown, but the grey one came in the silver box with the instructions.

Are those banked cartridges? Looks like Mario Bros XE is a 64K ROM cartridge with some banking going on (and much smoother Mario character, collisions, and harder play than the Atari 5200 ROM cartridge which is non-banked). Agreed! I would prefer it be $19.95. ... or better yet, to be dropped off at the recycling center where I work.

Thanks! Just an update on this... I have not gotten any of the 9 carts in trade, and it's been a while so I am going to break the seals and open 3 of the lesser titles: (crossbow, crime buster, & thunder fox) Feels like a waste to do so on the remaining 6 titles, but if nothing comes up by next month, I will open 3 more. (Into the Eagles Nest, Air Ball, & Mario Brothers) And then by end of year, reluctantly, the last 3. (Karateka, Choplifter, & Summer Games)

I sliced open some more of these games this morning and I am down to just 3 sealed games now. (Summer Games, Choplifter, & Karateka) I know these are worth alot, and I just need the loose cartridges so I'd hate to slice open these seals, but I have not gotten any replies to this at all so I figure nobody here is interested? PLEASE, if you have a loose atari xe cartridge of either of these 3 games, and are looking to trade up for a complete boxed/sealed one then please contact me within the next day or so. Regards...
