MaxSpeed
It would be great if it had the history, info on the games and even cart ratings and rarity guides. Is there such a book ?
MaxSpeed
I went ahead and ordered the Digital Press Video Game Collector's Guide. Hope it is good.

MrRetroGamer
SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT!!! You can visit my site to see dozens of video game books that may interest you. For Atari History, ZAP! (original or reprint) is pretty good. For general Video Game History, Phoenix is an excellent read. So is Game Over, and The First Quarter. There are books that rate various games, there are books on how to beat various games, books on handheld games, and some that I can't quite describe! Have a look around and feel free to ask any questions! http://retrogames-r-us.tripod.com The magazines I have always seem to have interesting tid-bits and articles about Atari, Mattel, Coleco, Activision and others. AtariDude
I recommend the following two books: 1) Phoenix: The Fall and Rise of Videogames. Obtain this book from http://www.rolentapress.com 2) The Ultimate History of Video Games by Stephen Kent. Available from Amazon.com, Barnes and Nobles, and several different book store chains.
