Fable 3 (or Fable III)

Resurecting this thread, as I'm playing through Fable III now. I, personally, am a big fan of the Fable series. Definitely not for everyone.

 

But anyway, I'm trying to raise some personal money and had a quick (and probably dumb) question that likely anyone who's played this game and who's not me can answer: where can you find a blacksmith's job? I want to raise a lot of money and I've already leveled up fairly far my blacksmith's abilities, assuming that you could get a job at that blacksmith's shop near Brightwood's town gates. But now job....just the ability to interact with the blacksmith! I can't for the life of me find where I can accept a blacksmith's job. Any ideas?

I've managed to acquire the first three games, but I've only played through the opening act of the original, and for whatever reason, I didn't feel compelled to continue on with it. I should probably give the series another chance, and decide once and for all whether to hang on to the games, or else trade them away.
