Combats...why is it always Combats? Don't they do their research?

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 3904334864521?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=390433486452&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Because social science says people will pay more just to be like everyone else. That's why we have places like Abercrombie and Fitch, The Gap, and Gucci.

"You has a Combats? Then I must has a Combats, now matter how much it costs!"

eBay's description of "Brand New" at the top of the auction,

"Brand New: An item that has never been opened or removed from the manufacturer's sealing"

Not so much any more.

Yes I agree,i just bought a dvd boxset advertised on ebay as brand new and its due for delivery next week, but I have a suspicion that it is just a copy and not original.. if so the war begins.

I stopped buying DVDs on eBay for this very reason. Bought a DVD boxset of Deep Space 9 that turned out to be a copy. Couldn't even play the discs as they weren't properly balanced and made a ton of noise in the player.

Rare Pitfall II prototype only $49995!

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 2308716738311?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=230871673831&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

Unbelievable....I wish people would do their research and at least put a reasonable demand on the price. It is embarrassing to call this person a fellow Canadian.

This is not the only Atari proto that has shown up on ebay at an outrageous price.....sell it or don't, but stop wasting buyers time.
