Whelp, guess I can consider myself good at Asteroids now (Game Room)

Asteroids 2600, just placed 29th with 656,000 points.

 

Anyone else on Atari Age playing 2600 Asteroids on Game Room? I'm curious to know how I'd stack up. I consider myself a medium strength player at best but the settings they use for their ranked games make it real easy to score high. Game Variation 1, Difficulty Switch A.

 

Free guy every 5k points? Pretty much the only reason I lost was because my fingers started getting tired.

Don't have Asteroids. I really haven't bought too many Atari 2600 games. I already have them all and they seem a bit pricey to pay just to play them on the 360.

Maybe if the had package deals, like say 10 games for 800 points.

I'm in the same boat, but I bought quadrun because I got 1st place on my first game in the world... lol.

I think I'd be more tempted if they had package deals for the games also.

Haha yeah it was overpriced. I mentioned this in the dedicated Game Room topic but I'm a huge Asteroids fan. I figure three bucks for a ranked Asteroids was worth it. Though like I said I'm a little disappointed by the mode they selected for ranked because it really isn't all that hard. I'm surprised there weren't some even crazier scores on there.
