8th lutz
http://home.comcast.net/~scottith/videosoft/videosoft.html I got this site link and info from Digital Press. Those games are able to be released thanks to an agreement with Video Soft founder Jerry Lawson. Each Title will only be limited to 100 copies. Each Title also comes with a box and manual. The Games are 3D Ghost Attack, 3D Genesis, 3D Havoc, Atom Smash, Depth Charge, and S.A.C. Alert. 4ever2600
Placed my order for the 6 titles! Can't wait to play!
bomberpunk
with prices ranging from $30 to $50 for incomplete demos, i will definitely pass.
homerwannabee
Hmm, I have a question about this part. "As each title is sold out, the ROM file for it will be released with the condition it is not to be sold by anyone, in any form" So does that mean that even people who have bought the games can not re sell them at even what they had paid for them? SpaceDice2010
I believe it to mean that once the ROM is released you can't sell the ROM or make carts from the ROM and sell that. Meaning, you can't have Al make a cart and then go sell that cart on Ebay.
VectorGamer
Which 3 games are complete? Yeah would be good to know before shelling out the dough
Chris Leach
fROM THE thread..>These were demos? WHo buys demo carts? Does the game just let you play a minute or two and reset? Seems like you might make more money by seling htem places like the AA store and allowing more to be produced....if nayone gets them, please post pics...? maiki
Speaking about releasing ROMs, has Actionauts been released on the internet at last?
Skylark68
It would be hard to buy any of them without knowing which ones are complete. I'd have a hard time shelling out the cash for little more than a demo.
Godzilla
wow thats awesome... i should have some dosh by tommorrow. hope some are left by then...

I highly doubt anything being sold by Scott Stilphen will be appearing in the AA store in this lifetime. wow thats awesome... i should have some dosh by tommorrow. hope some are left by then... With 100 copies of each title being produced, I'm quite sure they won't sell out that fast.
SpaceDice2010
It would be nice to see the box as well. Here is the deal. 100 are going to be produced. That means that five years from now they will go for big $$$ on Ebay, even if they are unplayable.
psquare75
I'll wait for the ROMs Neat find though
Foxsolo2000
I thought there would be more general excitement about these games, demos or not. Has Tempest seen them yet?

the.golden.ax
I'd like to A) see the boxes and materials. B) get a pack price for all six. AX
Foxsolo2000
They could do with a little more information about the game play though. Hope they update it soon.
Thomas Jentzsch
3 different prototypes exist – each being a different level of the game. Unfortunately, none of the prototypes are 100% complete... Someone should merge them into one ROM.
Godzilla
well if you order all 6 you get free shipping, so i guess that is their pack price...

I got the impression from their page description that the cartridge contained all three versions on one cart (which would explain the 16k cart size and $50 price,)

+SpiceWare
the 3D looked intriguing, but when I checked out the screenshots with my 3D glasses there was a lot of color bleed which diminished the effect.
the.golden.ax
well if you order all 6 you get free shipping, so i guess that is their pack price... $270 for six games... the packaging should be pretty cool. I'll be waiting A) for some liquid cash, but B) a ship window of 45 days or less (I don't know this seller) and C) more details. I'm not saying I'm not totally excited, but on the fence would be more like it until it has a bit more to go on. That's allot of money all at once... and who would want just one?
