+cvga
Here's an auction for an Odyssey and 10 games for only $500. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1943556686 My question is... If someone bids $500 knowing that the reserve will not be met I know the seller is not obligated to sell the item. However, would the buyer be obligated to purchase the item if the seller decided to be "generous" and offer the item at the winning bid amount even though it didn't reach the reserve? No, if the reserve is not met the buyer has no obligation.

MrRetroGamer
After reading this thread, I knew that as SOON as I clicked on that link, I would see a zero feedback seller with next to it!
+cvga
I saw that, what do you mean by "only" ? You're joking right ? That is insane ! Yes, I was being sarcastic. However, I was tempted to bid on the item just to see the what the seller would do at the end It would have to be mightly disappointing to lose out on a big sale just because you were greedy with the reserve
JCroniger
Check out his other auctions: Rock n Roll 350 set of 45 RPM Records $600.00 Country-1,100 set of 45 RPM Records $1,500.00 Classical-about 100 set of 78 RPM LP Records $500.00 Odyssey-Video game before Atari came out-1979 $500.00 Seems kind of silly. +cvga
That's too funny. Someone different should bid on each of the auctions and then decline his offer to sell stating that the reserve wasn't met and they would prefer to pass. It would suck to be him
