I just keep buying all the homebrews because I love my collection and hobby and it's fun keeping it up. Definitely not an investment for me because I won't be the one selling it off or giving it away. I'm sure it will be hit or miss for my kids. 80% will be worthless 20% will have some resale value. I told one of my sons that he is in charge of deciding what to do with my collection when I die. I create a google sheet I share with my brother. He knows my collection costs a lot. So, each unit, each games are in my google sheet with the average value. It's not the best way to maximize a full 125's value but it will net her the biggest return she can get with the least amount of effort. It's also likely the best way to make sure it winds up in other collector's hands rather than Goodwill or a dump. I could also just will it to someone in this community as a backup plan but then I'd worry about getting shanked in Portland by one of you shifty types! It was a tad more than I wanted to pay, but the UK seller was using the Global Shipping service so I didn't have to worry about finding a way to get it here. Actually even with the shipping cost, and the seller taking my offer, it came out to about $250. Many of the ones I've seen, sellers won't ship to USA directly. Has a few of the inner cardboard, no manual or AC adapter (wouldn't work for me anyway). Used an NES brick, and it worked straight away! Now, why did I need the PAL one? I'm just a stickler with OEM stuff matching and wanted the brown one, ha ha.
