CPUWIZ
Knowing Dave Kreg it was probably the PAL version.
badbrad
This guy sure sells a lot, is he honest? Brad
CPUWIZ
Yes and no, if I remember correctly he sold MegaManFan a PAL Boing! and wouldn't refund him his money. I don't think this fellow is very smart, he buys games at super high prices and later sells them for a lot less. Not very clever if you ask me. Here is a perfect example: BUY (from me, thanks Dave !) http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1381591737 SELL http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...1943042051&rd=

screamin1
I have been a lurker for awhile and decided to finally post when I saw a reference to one of my deals. I am the guy that bought that Glib from DaveKreg. I have bought a few other games from him and haven't had a problem. I already have a very nice Glib, but couldn't pass up another at this price. Not sure why anyone would want to dump a game at such a huge loss. Oh well....works for me. I will try to post when I receive the game to let everyone know how the transaction went. CPUWIZ
If it is indeed the copy he got from me, it's in extremely good condition, you got one hell of a deal !
MrRetroGamer
I usually try to use EBAY to MAKE money on items I turn around and resell quickly. It appears that perhaps Mr Kreg knows not what he does??
oesii
or maybe after his wife/girlfriend/accountant saw all the money he has spent this year they made him liquidate quickly
screamin1
I am guessing it is heat from the wife. If that is the case I can certainly sympathize (without feeling any guilt from the good deal on Glib) with him as I receive much nagging from my spouse as to the size of my Atari collection. While I love my collection for its playing value I also view it as an investment. I believe the 30-year rule will come into play soon, whereby 30 years have gone by from when these games were produced and people that grew up with these games will be able to afford collecting them. One tactic that I use to get my wife off my back is by telling her that I will sell the collection when by daughter needs the money to go to college. Since she is now 10 months old this buys me another 17 years of collecting and accumulating and hoping for a scholarship!
MegaManFan
Yes and no, if I remember correctly he sold MegaManFan a PAL Boing! and wouldn't refund him his money. The last name of the eBay seller who sold me the PAL Boing! and wouldn't refund me is Neale. I can't find his original eBay handle because he cancelled the original auction before I placed the bid, but I don't THINK this is davekreg. I tried to find a davekreg auction I had won but can't, so if anybody who has can match up the last name we'd know for sure.
