Curt Vendel
Anyone here recommend any good low cost replacements to the way long in the tooth 2732/64/128/256 eproms??? I'd prefer to move away from the bulky DIP packages and into something much smaller. Curt
CPUWIZ
I presume you are referring to PLCC EPROM's ? I don't know where you can buy them directly but you can take a peek at some datasheets here: http://www.atmel.com/atmel/acrobat/doc0001.pdf http://www.atmel.com/atmel/acrobat/doc0006.pdf
cschell
They're available in SOP and TSOP packaging as well. Digikey carries a selection of them. Most annoying aspect is programming them as the sockets aren't the cheapest and the pins are delicate. Various reprogrammable flash solutions exist as well.
