Fred_M
Well, I know, it barely fits the topic of this thread... Looking through Atarimaria site I've found Thinx game, and the message of its author (Erik Stok). The author apparently wanted to publish his game, but due to weird protection, he didn't manage it till now. Does anyone have contact with this guy, or at least ATR file with full version of Thinx (even dump of protected one, there are still the guys able to crack programs). Thanks miker I have some original stock in my webshop of this game. yes it is a heavily protected game Edited April 26, 2011 by Fred_M

+CharlieChaplin
Well, thats what I like about Fandal, not only that he codes dozens of games and demos for the A8, he also does a lot of extra work, including megacart/supercart to XE file conversions, hacks/cracks and patches of existing stuff (removing copy-protections, adding multijoy capabilities, etc. etc.) and lots of other things... Keep up that great work for the A8 community, Fandal ! And thank you very much ! -Andreas Koch.
Fox-1 / mnx
Good to have a non-protected copy. Makes things much easier. What I like about Fandals work is the no nonsense way. Apart for the 'need XMS" messages in a few files it looks identical to the original. Just went thru a stack of ATR's I got from Israel and someone is doing things different over there. ALL files and boot disks are edited with a sector editor to plaster his "cracked by" message around, while as far I can see he didn't crack anything himself. Even the original cracker intro's are edited to put his name in.
Marius
@fox-1 That sounds like a ghostbusters version I have here: packed by fox-1... Better is that one with the unregistered delay "underground version" from millipede ... Or was it missile command?
Fox-1 / mnx
That sounds like a ghostbusters version I have here: packed by fox-1... Not really. It's just a loader. I don't exchange the "copyright/written by" names with my own one. Better is that one with the unregistered delay "underground version" from millipede ... Or was it missile command? Millipede. It seems a legendary version :-) What about this: On Fandal's site I noticed an ugly demo of my of which I didn't even knew it was out there.
