Hope everyone has fun! :D

..Al

Sorry you're not going Al, the AA booth in 2007 is what introduced me to your awesome site!

He is avoiding me. Al is never at any show I go to. :(

When will we be together?

AX

Oh, actually now I understand! :P

I think Al and Ax are one in the same. Notice how never see them in the same place at the same time? And both of their names begin with an A!

what no weird Al yankovick music , if you have 80's music you have to have weird al

You bring enough weirdness to the show already.

Tomorrow is my favorite day of the year. The show seems to get bigger and better each year, and I always wonder when it's going to feel TOO big, but thankfully that's never happened yet. I lurk at these forums more than anything else, so I don't really "know" anybody here to meet up in person, but I'm sure everybody going is gonna have a fantastic time.

cant wait to see pics of the event.i so gotta attend MGC,maybe next year.

If you do, let me know - I should be there! (Been going since 2008)

The show was a lot of fun this year - good to see Ax and Tempest there again along with the AAers that were selling in the vendor area! I really gotta get myself a hotel room there and contribute something next year so that I can spend more time there. :)

Great show all around!!

Particular favorite highlights:

The museum / classic console area. Really enjoyed reliving the Odyssey 2 (never knew Frogger came out for that!) and getting some KC Munchkin on. Had never played a Vectrex before, that was completely awesome. I may have to look into getting a Vectrex sometime, that's a fantastic little machine! I loved all the carefully written writeups of the systems, and the selection of the games.

The bizarre appearance of the Bill Paxton pinball machine.

Everything from the Galloping Ghost Arcade - I wasn't familiar with it, now I'm going to have to make a road trip and spend a day there. I loved that they brought a Simpsons Arcade machine, a game that has sadly never seen a home port.

Getting to hear Eugene Jarvis speak - very cordial, very interesting, very good questions from the crowd, a special treat.

The Vendors. I took too much money, and then spent so much I didn't have enough scratch to get into the show on Sunday, if that tells you anything! And plus I was on overload anyways, so it's all good. I came away with some great deals and special finds, including 2 Atari 2600 games, 3 Atari 5200 games, 2 Atari 7800 games, 4 Genesis games, a 32X game, a Saturn game, a Dreamcast game, a 5200 controller, a Jawa beanbag toy, a Garfield and a Hello Kitty for the wife, 5 super sweet arcade marquees (including an amazingly heavy glass Space Duel marquee), an Atari notebook style cart holder, 3 Sega CD games, a Moon Patrol sticker, a cd of music from 8-bit sound generation.

JagFest - I hadn't had much in-person experience with the Jag, it was nice to see all those Jags hooked up! Very stylish machine, and very crisp graphics all around. Also a very nice and strange Batman TV in use for one of the Jags, that was entertaining!

The arcade machines - not a pinball guy but was entertained with the LOTR pin, the GorGar pin and a lot of the crazy artwork on those nicely tuned and shined up machines. Also was glad to see a Circus Charlie, a Warlords, Moon Patrol and some others to play. I was somewhat tempted to ask about buying the Warlords machine...but it's for the best I didn't pursue that avenue just yet. :)

And nice hotel too! The posted room rate (which is always inflated, but still!) was $599, nice to have gotten it for the con rate of less than 1/6th that! The staff were nice, though my only minor quibble was that the bar seemed wholly understaffed (one lone bartender doing everything on Saturday night, including delivering food from the kitchen, with about 30 people in the bar...).

In sum, it was great to be there and I hope to see it all again next year!

I thought Jagfest was set up better this year as we went from 2 tables last year to 3 this year. Also the batman TV is my stepsons and I

cannot believe how many people comment on the batman TV it's almost more popular than any of the Jag stuff. Next year I hope we can add more

to the show. Alot of people stopped by to play. I had a great time as always.
