toymailman
It looks like he originally linked to a gallery and then later restricted permissions to the gallery. I think the first one is A1 88 5425514 though the last 5 may be a 6, it is hard to tell. The second one is X2 01 027306. If you are getting ready to do an update then I guess I should dig up the rest of my 7800s and post the serials. Mitch I think the last 5 is a 6 unless he bought this unit from stardust4ever. AlwaysOnPlanetPatrol
For whatever reason, I do not have permission to see these images when I click on them. Can you type in the serial numbers instead? The first one is especially hard to see. Weird. With EI: A1 88 5425614 Without EI: 72R4BR X201027306

+Mitch
mine is: A1 01 3012487 (PAL-I (UK)) 1989 High Voltage, Do you mind posting a pic of this serial number? I am curious what an A1 PAL serial number looks like? Mitch
+Mitch
Just an FYI on my PAL 7800s; X1093 118332 is PAL I, X211 039602 is PAL B, X819 4039400 is PAL RGB and X819 4054929 is PAL RGB. I noticed that in the list that PAL RGB was listed in several different ways. For example: SCART, PAL with RGB sockets and French SCART are all the same thing. It might help to clarify if they are all listed the same way on the list. Also, it might be helpful to list all of the PAL units together instead of grouping some of them with the NTSC consoles. Just a thought. Mitch
+Mitch
While I am thinking about it here are a couple more NTSC units. 005802 EP264 AT84 10728 AT84 34648 AT85 040332 A1 73 5839185 A1 76 5806823 A1 85 5330367 - Atari Mexico A3 07 5294890 A3 85 5076717 X210 017816 That should be most of the rest of them. I might have one or two more floating around somewhere. Mitch

Now that's interesting...Would like to know the backstory on that one. *EDIT: Presuming it is in harmony with this post.

Jouster
here are mine, only 3 of them work correctly: 72R4BR A1 85 5322400 NTSC (Taiwan) X 9383812378 PAL (China) X 9383822750 PAL (China) X 9383813874 PAL (China) A1 9C 3009092 PAL (Taiwan) The ones made in Taiwan seem the best made units

SearsRoebuck
Just bought AT85046055, this one is CIB. Came to this thread hoping that serial would be an expansion port serial range, and I am happy to see that it is. Never seen one in person. leep
I'm new to the 7800. Just picked one up via Craig's List, and next thing I know a co-worker says he has one and gives it to me. So I'm the proud owner of two 7800's now. The first one I got is A3 87 5145173, board date is 2688. I just modded it for composite video a couple days ago. The second one I got (from co-worker) is A1 76 5908587 with expansion port, board date is 2387.
