unhuman
I found this: http://redbaron.htmlplanet.com/ti.html which has a program called Teach Yourself Assembly. I am reading it inside TI99Dir, but it seems to have some nice examples of how to do some things... Not sure it'll cover all the bases, but... Good enough for now. matthew180
Why not start here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/162941-assembly-on-the-994a/ Or with Lottrup's book?

unhuman
this link also useful : http://grasshopperx....w-to-stop-time/ Ok. I can stop time now... That works. But can I reverse it? That'd be even more helpful!

Adamantyr Yeah, that'll keep me away for sure - shame there's not a decent PDF version... Yes - I know I can find it on scribd, but that's a crappy scan-only version. Oh well. That'd be even more helpful! i agree.. but to stop, it's already not so bad... i dream to stop everything for 1 month or 2, to spent time on my favorite machine, trying all hardware i bought and never used and of course, study ASM ! sometimes99er
Lottrup ... shame there's not a decent PDF version... Yes - I know I can find it on scribd, but that's a crappy scan-only version. Oh well. My version looks printable. I think I got it from whtech, but I'm not sure. It's in 13 separate PDF files with sizes from 284 KB to 1636 KB. There's a few nice books on assembly here: ftp://ftp.whtech.com/programming/Assembler

AA won't allow files bigger than 2M. But I'm happy to share - when I'm done.
unhuman
This is what I have so far: Compute's Beginners Guide to Assembly Language on the TI-99/4A Edit: BTW - I did not convert to actual text as that seemed to screw up a lot. For example, if you search for "compute" it doesn't find the title, so that'd've looked bad. So, I left the display as images, made it searchable, but it does find the text. Kind of amazing. Shows up in google docs, but you can download the PDF from the File / Download Original menu. Enjoy! +retroclouds
Very nice! If you don't mind I'd replace the scribd version of the Development Resources thread with your PDF version. Planning on doing that for a couple more reference manuals up there. Thx
unhuman
I don't mind. I'd prefer it to have a more permanent home than my google docs... but for now, sure. It is better Anyone get it into whtech? Edited March 21, 2011 by unhuman
