lastkill3r
Are there any good RPG's for Amiga? My specs: Amiga 500 3 mb Ram (1 mb chip+2 mb megaram)
high voltage
Too many to mention. Many classics, try under SSI, EA, Microprose, Sir-Tech, Origin and so on.....
Spoon
The only Amiga-specific RPG I can think of that was really good was Moria (basically an Amiga version of Nethack). My top 5 list of favorite Amiga RPGs would probably go like this... 5. Questron II 4. Pool Of Radiance 3. Phantasie III 2. Ultima V 1. Bard's Tale III
4ever2600
WOW! Are you kidding? Some of the best RPGs I grew up on were on the Amiga! Dungeon Master 1 and 2 Eye of the Beholder 1-3 Faery Tale Adventure Adv Dungeons and Dragons Gold Box Series (plenty of them) Times of Lore Bards Tale 1-3 Might and Magic Series Those should keep you busy for a while. Spoon
I said Amiga-specific. I wasn't sure if the poster was looking for something exclusive to the Amiga or not. Of course the Amiga had a ba-zillion great RPGs. Also correct me if I'm wrong (which I usually am), but I don't believe Eye Of The Beholder 3 came out for Amiga. The first two were awesome, though. lastkill3r
Never liked D&D games, maybe time to start? Are there choices in those games like in Witcher, Fable or something? Or are they just dungeon exploration? I ask because i only played few classic RPGs, never get far.
Spoon
To be honest with you, I'm not sure what you mean by "choices" as I'm not terribly familiar with either Witcher or Fable. I know the basic gameplay of those two games, and the D&D games are nothing like that. The Eye Of The Beholder series are pure dungeon crawling awesomeness with real time combat. The Gold Box series are first person exploration (for the most part), but the combat is turn-based strategy. I can't help but wonder if a good jumping off point might be Quest For Glory I & II. It's more of an adventure/RPG format, and might make the transition a little easier.
lastkill3r
Thanks! Played DOS version of eotb several times and never knew how to fight (facepalm). xD
NumbThumb
I really like Obitus. "Impelling RPG with more than a dash of hack n´slash" Never gotten very far in it, but I love the feel and atmosphere. The intro blew my mind back in the day... (Was about to scan my own box backside, but found this one with more screenshots)
Bill Loguidice
Necro thread! Besides the ones mentioned, I'll throw in EA's Swords of Twilight. It's an unusual mix of classic CRPG and console RPG that supports up to three simultaneous players. It's not the greatest game to be sure, but it's reasonably unique. Nebulon
No love for Black Crypt? Man that game was fun! edit: And Captive was awesome too. Ah yes, Black Crypt. I forgot about that one. As for Captive, even with the manual I still couldn't figure out how to play it. If anyone ever decides to write a step-by-step guide to getting started on that one, please let me know. These look useful to get started(I don't have anything to do with either link): http://captive.atari.org/Main/StartGame/StartGame.php
108 Stars
Amberstar and Ambermoon seem to be popular with Amiga fans. The first one was on ST and PC too, the second one is only available on Amiga.
Nebulon
Haven't tried this one, but Amiga Format seemed to like it: https://archive.org/stream/Amiga_Format_Issue_021_1991-04_Future_Publishing_GB#page/n61/mode/2up
