The MESS emulator supports a wide variety of game systems and computers, including the Atari 5200, 7800 and 8-bit computers. There don't appear to be any Atari-related changes in this latest version, but this version does add support for the Odyssey 2 and has numerous improvements for other emulated systems. Vic George 2K3 Posted December 20, 2002 Share Posted December 20, 2002 I don't like the current MESS 32's new "in-game" GUI feature. The joystick configuration no longer allows for that "tap-it-and-read-it" ability that was in the earlier versions that can be simply re-accessed by hitting the TAB button on your keyboard. Also, when I selected to hide the menu, it made leaving the game in progress impossible and I couldn't find a way out, so I had to reset my computer to regain control. Needs some serious work on it.
