maibock
I'll be in the market late spring/early summer (planning on moving to a bigger house at that time - more room for "stuff"!) and I got the go ahead that there will be in fact a "gameroom" allowed in the new house. Was thinking about a couple classic games(pac man, galaga, donkey kong etc etc) I could store the machine here at work if prices seemed to be cheaper during the winter time or do the prices pretty much remain constant? Thanks!
Happy_Dude
Short Answer - Yes Long answer - You can always look through warehouses and find a cheap machine any time of year. Classics like Galaga and Pac-man would be the higher end of the price spectrum because there so well known so they might be cheaper from a retailer. If you plan on restoration you will save some money (and have a lot of fun ) But if you want to buy a compleat working machine there isn't any chance of going over budget when you find that the monitor is kaput . Happy_Dude
as a price guied don't pay any more than this site will sell for http://www.quarterarcade.com/Browse.aspx?c...Classic.Upright
Nukey Shay
You might also check into getting a Jamma-compatable machine. Handy machines if you get bored with games, since you can just disconnect the game rom board and plug in a different one.
