Mendon
According to News Reports, Sony just got hacked again, this time by LulzSek. Sigh........ I tend to believe that this hacking is just going to keep going on for awhile, as the supposedly "new & improved" security measures Sony is implementing will be considered a challenge and a test of wits. Google, PBS, Fox, Sony, and "Weinergate" have all happened recently. Seems hacking has become a popular hobby and makes me pause and stare at my credit/debit card every time I take them out of my wallet. HammR25
Yep but then I can't think of a company I could care less about if it actually happened to them. I just hope the personal information they released was for some famous people.

Same here actually. I didn't even get to select the games, I just got an error and then the whole option was gone...
Cybergoth
Oh, the mighty Sony reacted fast and already published a workaround for their latest bug... Q: I no longer have the option to choose my free Welcome Back games. What can I do? A: If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List Choose “PlayStation Network Promotions” from the list of services displayed Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content” You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games. Tr3vor
What about if I'm using the Media Go program? The welcome back stuff dissapeared. Also, my psp and ps3 are giving me the same error for the psn store. only media go works... Edited June 3, 2011 by Tr3vor
moycon
Won't even let me log into the store. Don't know why I would expect their shit network to handle millions of requests for free games. Guess I'll try again later....

Dreammary
The error is flood control; I have successfully got my 2 games, free theme and 30 days of PS+... just be patient. Edit- I do believe everyone will get their turn eventually, it's just a waiting game. Edited June 4, 2011 by Dreammary

Karyyk
This has been an exercise in frustration, that's for sure. I do have my PS3 games downloading with my account, but resetting the password to my stepson's sub account (to get him the free PSP games) has been next to impossible. Logging on to the the PSN site from a PC just gets you the under maintenance page, no matter how many times you try to refresh (and I've probably refreshed it 50 times over the last hour). Frustrating, but at least the price is right (not that this gets you off the hook Sony).
Cybergoth
Now everything worked for me. For the troubles I had with my German account I got Ratchet & Clank and Super Stardust and for the troubles I had with my UK Account I got inFamous and the Zombie game
HammR25
I really want Armageddon Riders but not enough to give Sony money. Hopefully it ends up showing up on XBLA.
moycon
I managed to snag InFamous. Took around 16 hours to download. I'm pissed because right before that I activated my PS+ for 30 days. Unfortunately it's next to worthless right now because of how slow the network is. My advice. Wait a week or two to activate the PS+. I think you have until the early part of July. xenomorpher
I was able to download Little Big Planet today. Lucky for me I didn't buy the GOTY edition game and dualshock 3 bundle a few weeks back. Right now Oddworld: Abe's Exodus is downloading because I was able to get the PS+ for 30 days this morning too. It should be done within two hours or so. I wasn't sure what my second PS3 game would be, but decided to get inFAMOUS since it would give me more play time than the Wipeout bundle though it probably won't finish downloading until Sunday. I have been getting a few error messages in the PSN Store, but after two or three tries it usually works. So far I'm pretty happy with everything, I mean it's free after all. Later next week I'll have to download the two free PSP games. I'll most likely get Pursuit Force and Modnation Racers since I already have Killzone:Liberation. I thought I was the only one with ridiculously long download times. I chose Little Big planet and Dead Nation around 5:30 am yesterday and LBP is only at 75% and DN is at 3%
cimerians
I was able to grab everything I needed yesterday by retrying. (Exiting the screen I'm on and going back in repeatedly) Downloads were pretty fast but getting it to download was the problem for me. I grabbed: Dead Nation Little Big Planet PS+ free games in the PS+ section: I got Sonic 2, this surprisingly fun mini Octupus game and a bunch of avatars and some themes. Rikkarr
I had some awful download speeds at first, but they sped up as the day went on. Got Wipeout HD and LBP. Still need to decide on the PSP games though.
