Bruce Tomlin
I just bought a Coleco Vision MIB , still in the styrofoam, for $10. Good thing you found one boxed. Hopefully it hasn't been used much. I have been picking up Colecovisions for a while, trying to find one in the wild that works. The last one I found was boxed in it's styrofoam packing, and it works pretty well. Meh. If you're interested in selling them cheap, I would buy them to see if I could fix them. But I don't know when I'll be up there next.

20eyes
Found in the trash today: Working sega satun console, no cables though. How did you find out it was working? I found a pinout for the av connector, cut the end off an rca cable and used the composit video pin. By working i mean the system powers up on screen. I dont have and controllers or games to test he cd unit though.
bones
I was lucky, I bought mine when the SNES was out. Before the hurricane I found Earthbound with it's box. I was happy. I still have it too! Which hurricane? It's been a quiet year so far...(cross fingers) Katrina. : / Yuck I'm in South Florida and have been through a few in the past three years, but nothing like that. Dauber
Saturday I went to the vintage store near where I work. I knew to expect to pay $4 each per 2600 cart, but I wanted to see if they had anything interesting or what I didn't have already -- they usually do... From the front counter loaded with games, I grabbed: - Fishing Derby - Wizard of Wor - Enduro - M*A*S*H The guy behind the counter said "Does it say over there what the price is?" Nope, no sign or price tags or anything. "How's three dollars each sound?" Better than the expected $4. Yeah, not much of a FIND, but it was nice to get the unexpected 25% discount. elliott
I had an odd find today, I found a complete boxed German version of The Jungle Book "Das Dschungelbuch" for the Mega Drive. I picked it up for the novelty factor, I haven't even checked the game to see if it is in German too, but the manual and box are multi-language. I also picked up: Ultimate Mortal Combat - Genesis (boxed) Blaster Master - NES SNES controller Some kind of 4 way controller splitter for the SNES called the "Super Link" by BPS , not sure what this was for but it was with the controller. Dreamcast A/V and Power cord
SteveW
I just bought a Coleco Vision MIB , still in the styrofoam, for $10. Good thing you found one boxed. The last one I found was boxed in it's styrofoam packing, and it works pretty well. Meh. If you're interested in selling them cheap, I would buy them to see if I could fix them. But I don't know when I'll be up there next. One of them really needs work. I'll happily give that one to you outright. At least you'd give it a good home and try to get it working. It's going to sit in a storage bin otherwise. I don't have a power supply for it, though. Today I hit an antique store that I had found a Pac-Man lunchbox and a couple 2600 games at last time I was down in this area, and this time they had bins and bins of classic video games. I had most of what he had in stock, but I did pick up $20 worth of classic gaming goodness. Atlantis (Intellivision), Conquest Of The World (Odyssey2) cart only, Summer Games (2600), Donkey Kong Jr. (Colecovision), Gyruss (2600), and Safecracker (Intellivision), boxed and complete (and I suspect never played before). The guy who owned the shop said that he had heaps of Intellivision boxed games in storage there, and he'd cut me a deal on them whenever he gets them out. I wasn't sure if he was referring to the Imagic releases or Intellivision games in general. Hopefully, I can hit the place before I go back to Texas and see what he's got. There aren't too many titles for the Intellivision that I really want, but it never hurts to look. He also has a non-working Ms. Pac-Man arcade game that I'd love to buy and repair if I had the room for it. I forgot to mention that I also found a Timex Sinclair 1500 in a battered and heavily damaged box at a Salvation Army store today. It's got the console (with some kind of plastic 'keyboard condom' type covering on it) and the cassette drive cables, and nothing else. Cost me $5. A.J. Franzman
Verified still there on Wednesday October 4: 18 boxes, most in original shrinkwrap (split from overshrinkage but boxes still unopened), 10 count Maxell FD2-D double-sided, single or double density, 8-inch floppy disks. One box was torn open at a corner, apparently by somebody who didn't know there was such a thing as an 8-inch floppy. The marked price is $4.98 each box, plus tax (about $5.40 total), but they may go on discount if still there in a few weeks. This store uses a colored tag system, where if an item has been out for something like 5 or 6 weeks, it will go to 50% off. If it doesn't sell at that price, it becomes 75% off the following week. After that, it may be pulled and either trashed or maybe sent to another thrift store. Also, I may be able to get a lower price from the manager if I get most or all of them. Anybody want me to pick any of these up for you, or know someone else who might want them? I'd need to be paid in advance for the disks and shipping (which will likely be substantial) plus something for my expenses. In the event the disks are gone or any overpayment, the excess amount will be refunded. EDIT: Still there on Thursday Oct. 12, at 50% discount. Next week, they will be at 75% discount if nobody gets them before then. Edited October 12, 2006 by A.J. Franzman

Technosis
I picked up Gekioh Shooting King for the PSX at a used Game/Movie store for $4.99. This Natsume shmup has a variety of weird game options like pocket mode (i.e old skool gameboy), comical Mode (has an audio laugh track), and ancient mode (like your grandad's TV). Ghost Soldier
Ghost Soldier I hate envy you! Where do you find the time to score all the deals you get? Wasn't aware it was that expensive atari master. By the way I work for BMG/Columbia House (I'm sure you know the name). Anyhow we have a company store that sells excess stock to employees. My other finds come from yardsales and local thrifts. Guess I'll have to pick up a couple more sealed dragonball's. A mini Beta player is indeed a great find, especially free. My model weighs approximately 1000 pounds, it's a bit irritating to keep around. I've been trying to find a working one for ages. my friend has tons of local TV that he taped in the 80's, and I want to transfer it to digital before the tapes totally rot.
