Reaperman
This one isn't a big issue, since the related outage doesn't impact consoles--though it means that I should give up on that confirmation email that finally arrived in my inbox today. Hopefully there won't be many more of these little issues. The reset system was probably secure enough before everybody's PII was compromised. I mean I do think it would be funny for psn to be blown to bits again, but a million little cuts just isn't going to entertain me. HammR25
I hadn't thought about it but yep the password reset only used your DOB. I intentionally hit it to reset my password because I wanted to see what security questions had been compromised. I guess I don't really care though because I also changed the email address I gave them and the password was also unique to PSN since those idiots already screwed up once. I also still just had my old cancelled credit card info in there as well. I noticed it was down this morning when I tried to login to the playstation blog. Now I know why. If it'll calm your mind just ask Sony directly. They'll tell you it isn't true even if it is!
Chuplayer
There's already a topic about this. Sony should just put Other OS back in the PS3 as a peace offering. Hopefully the hackers will accept it and stop messing with Sony anymore. Heck, putting Other OS back in the system might even get me back on board with the PS3. I've already sworn Sony off, but maybe I could be swayed back.
