I added a special touch to the white cart. It's a holographic logo which I had custom made out of Oil Slick Holographic Vinyl.........I like it myself :) :

I have a stack of those to the celing & were thinking I need to get rid of them ..... those decals make them look really great .....

My quest is nearly over, as they say in horse racing, (or is it car racing), we are entering the home stretch now. If anyone else has any 2600 games for sale by all means let me know. And if the price is right if they are in a single lot and can't be sold individually I'll gladly take them all. Only have 41 games left to get and then a list of people credited with helping me do this will be posted at the end of this post :P I already have a substantial list compiled

That's a pretty big list and will be very hard to get from people donating a little bit at a time. Each person wouldn't just be donating a few carts but the shipping also and you would only be getting donations from people that have doubles. If there were a way to combine them all in one shipment then people could donate more carts for less money going towards shipping. Maybe instead of getting a few carts here and there people can donate a few bucks towards a lot of games. Maybe a member or more could give a list of games they have for sell, people donate a few bucks(including people that have no doubles), and then you pick which games you want the most from the list based on how much money was donated or maybe there would be enough to get the whole lot. I'm not saying someone puts a list of complete in box games for 10 bucks or more each. Maybe something like loose carts for a dollar each. Each dollar that is donated is a game you get. Something like that might work better.

Well so far it seems I've done pretty well getting a majority of the games, almost to the home stretch, another 41 left to go :)

It is taking quite a while though. ;)

Well I never expected that I would have all the games re-acquired in a week, in fact when I initially started this quest in 2011, right up until January of this year I was STALLED at 27 cartridges, and then little by little things started picking up, I even keep a detailed timeline as I get them as shown here:

For those who may have thought I was making things up just to get people to send me Atari games, this is screenshots from the video of the house fire that happened on February 1st, 1991, the fire that destroyed my father's Atari 2600 collection and all of his model cars and ships:

As you can see there was a good bit of destruction and here is also video footage shot by the fire department photographer as the fire burned:

First post updated yet again, 24 away from completing the task I began in May of 2011 :) And at this point I can either get 3 lots of 8, 4 lots of 6, 6 lots of 4, or 2 lots of 12. However I end up getting the remaining carts from this point on is FINE with me as long as I get them. And yes I mean buying them :)

Congo Bongo has now migrated to the (got) list, total is now at 120, not my pic by the way, will take one when it arrives :)

***UPDATE***

Ended up with a dodgy Congo Bongo cartridge, so on the hunt for another one, this one the ROM chip ONLY works when OUTSIDE the cartridge casing but when I put it back IN then it is back not working again, and all the other cartridges I got have NO problems whatsoever

It's been here since May of 2011 or earlier and it's easiest for me to find right where it is, I really don't feel like learning a new location so let's not defile this post with snide remarks I've dealt with it enough on here. It pertains to the Atari 2600, I am happy with it right where it is. Besides no one is complaining about it but you and I have already made this thread known to several people who have bookmarked it's CURRENT location anyway so it can stay right where it is.
