HammR25 Posted May 21, 2011 Share Posted May 21, 2011 http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/05/30/full-psn-services-including-playstation-store-return-this-week/ Looks like it will be back up this week, 31 May 11 Tokyo, May 31, 2011 – Sony Corporation and Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced today that Sony Network Entertainment International (SNEI, the company) will fully restore all PlayStation®Network services in the Americas, Europe/PAL territories and Asia, excluding Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea by the end of this week. The company will also resume Music Unlimited powered by Qriocity™ for PlayStation®3 (PS3®), PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), VAIO and other PCs. Details for Japan, Hong Kong, and South Korea as well as the remaining services on Qriocity will be announced as they become available. In the message, PSN content manager Jack Osorno details plans to update the Store twice weekly -- on Tuesdays and Fridays -- for two weeks in order to speed up the release of content that's been delayed due to the outage. I wonder how long it'll take their servers to crash when everyone is trying to download their free games at the same time. I give it 5 minutes before that happens knowing Sony. It'd get buried in the wave of new releases with little/no promotion, or ignored totally for the "free" titles. Even if somebody wanted to purchase it, I doubt the store is going to be in any position to handle the traffic. I read about the Fantastic Four table, and thought which produced a "meh" from me. Nothing against the subject of the table, simply that I found the whole Marvel line to be lack-luster compared to the Zen tables.
