NIAD
With a second job and a whole lot of overtime ... also luck and some really good folks here on Atariage.. Yeah, you should be glad I was going thru the collecting dull-drums at the time and didn't scoop these up for myself!!! 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/187319-colecovision-auction-watch/page/178/#findComment-3591340 Share on other sites

+nanochess
Ok, this Wizard of ID's Wizmath looks pretty dirty and expensive! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wizard-of-Ids-Wiz-Math-for-ColecoVision-Sierra-1984-NOS-New-Sealed-Holy-Grail-/152243026356?hash=item23726439b4:g:mDwAAOSwTA9X2txe 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/187319-colecovision-auction-watch/page/178/#findComment-3594995 Share on other sites
ColecoDan
well the others that sold some of them went for a thousand. A truly sealed copy would be considered the holy grail for those sealed freaks. I doubt they would ever find another copy of such a hard to find game that is also sealed. If I was one of those sealed freaks I would probably have bought it already. I am just a regular buy every CIB freak and already have that game thank god. SiLic0ne t0aD
That's maybe the 3rd or 4th sealed Wiz I've seen in the past 2-3 years. Then again, it maybe one of the copies from before that might have been bought from someone else and is now being resold by this guy. Who knows? Bmack36
Seems like lot of rare games including two double enders:http://www.ebay.com/itm/colecovision-massive-lot-aquattack-xonox-double-enders-super-cobra-complete-/182288152031 It will be interesting to see how high this goes although the reserve is not met yet at $358. Out of all the games I played as a kid on the CV my Artillery Duel cart saw the most action. I was obsessed with that game when it came out. Ikrananka
Seems that this guy is sneaking in the distribution of "many many more homebrews" roms under cover of an Ultimate SD cart sale. I have reported this auction and suggest others do the same. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 191974682884 Edited September 21, 2016 by Ikrananka Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/187319-colecovision-auction-watch/page/178/#findComment-3599027 Share on other sites

+stupus
Now that atarimax makes easy to use dumpers for most things, I think this type of situation is going to be common and unavoidable. And yes, ebay doesn't seem to give 2 shits about intellectual property as long as you don't put repro in the listing Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/187319-colecovision-auction-watch/page/178/#findComment-3599137 Share on other sites

But I think they are more than happy to allow infringement on big companies if they get away with that too Oh I agree I am sure they ignore the big infringements as well, I just mean there are tons of us reporting things and unless you are a big corporation sending them a letter they seem to not care about anybody who is reporting the problems. So if our group could start turning out 100s of millions of dollars of profit then ebay will start to take the listings down when we complain. I am sure they won't take them down from their own due diligence and in depth examinations that they do. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/187319-colecovision-auction-watch/page/178/#findComment-3599222 Share on other sites
+stupus
Yeah it's funny, there little bots will end auctions that say repro in them. But sell that same repro and not make any mention of it, so you totally screw the buyer....well then your all good!!! It wouldn't have taken much to search for AtariMax and find Steve Tucker's webpage in order to buy this product new for $470 less.
