JacobZu7zu7 Posted December 28, 2011 Author Share Posted December 28, 2011 (edited) Okay, I have an idea for the game draw, I will randomly draw a Knockout player from a hat, to select a game...then you will first pick a letter, A B C D - I have (so far) 4 sets of 4 2600 games (seperated) and next pick a number of 1 through 4. 1,2,3,4 The number selected is the ACTUAL GAME and we will play it! The letter represents the section it's sitting in. This is more interesting then me just drawing out of a hat, this way YOU will choose. A), has a change in difficulty setting... anyone else have a specific Game or Difficulty setting? All games will be played B/B "Default Game 1", unless I'm notified in post or PM. The most humbling moments would be ~ if you are knocked out the first round. ~if you get knocked out by your own game. I assume once you get knocked out you won't be able to pick the Letter/Number thing. Is this correct? This also means some people will have to pick twice. Then I assume once you pick once you will not be eligble to pick again until everyone still in has a chance to pick. Then again, just so it is random it doesnt matter who picks. Have fun! I PM'ed Gorfy to select, and when he does it will be mentioned here! If I am choosen and still in the knockout, I just might "pass"... or I could select a game of someone elses to be fair. Yep! A player can sit on level 1 and simply shoot enemies until the cows come home. As there are no cows in this game then you can play forever as level 1 is not really difficult. Maybe a new game should be picked to replace it? Also, the difficulty of Spider Fighter peaks fairly quickly and never gets harder. In some games where the difficulty ramps up to some maximum level, the maximum level is high enough to remain challenging for most players (Demon Attack, Kaboom, etc.). However, IMHO, the max difficulty of Spider Fighter is not too hard. It takes several hours to reach the 1,000,000 mark too. What do others think about this one? Spider Fighter might be ok, but if it's chosen LATE in the tourny, everyone might run with it and tie.... The ? (so far) is a wildcard game. Nothing fancy just another game.
