Inky
Was it purchased recently? They ship with the latest firmware already installed. Last firmware change was June '16. What happens and what do you have to do to get it connected again? Do you think it is just a particular controller? Or how long it has be connected? I have seen on the 2600-daptors sometimes the USB connection is reset when the controller is changed (particularly with the 2600 keypad), but it reconnects itself. The situation is different on the Vision-daptor, as you need to unplug/replug the USB when changing controllers. Tom http://2600-daptor.com/ OK, I will have to update the firmware then, because I purchased it in Feb. or March of last year. It seems to happen after about a minute or so. I have a few other controllers to tryout. I'll try to test them at some point tonight.
Inky
I pinned the issue down, and was able to fix it. I went into the windows properties of the vision dapter, and every time I used the Super Action Controller, and pressed up and right, the drivers would crash. I updated the firmware on the device, and now it works without issue.
ClassicGMR
That's an interesting crash. Nice catch. I haven't used any Super Action Controllers yet but they're on my wants list. I'll definitely be doing the firmware update this week.
dualcam
Have posted a firmware update - http://2600-daptor.com/Vision-firmware.htm If you have had trouble with the Vision-daptor not remembering the last controller, please give it a try. And let me know if you still have trouble after trying it. Also have support for Sega MS Sports Pad and HPD-200 paddle controllers. For now they are optional firmware (same link as above). intvnut
Nostalgia , Bliss and jzINTV , to the best of my knowledge none are still being developed. Sort of a sad state of affairs on the INTV emu front. FWIW, jzIntv is still under active development, roughly 20 years after I started it. (Yikes!) I just finally ordered a Vision-Daptor for myself. I have other adaptors (Retrobox, Retronic) but not this one. I'll happily include an "official" Vision-Daptor "hackfile" with a future jzIntv release.

Tesadorn
HI, I just purchased a set of vision-daptors and I am yet to get it to work properly.. When using ColEm it simply does not see the keypad.. is there a fix for this? The joystick and side buttons seem to work fine and it "sees" the 0 button when setting it up.. Thanks! dualcam
I don't see that ColEm has any mapping for the controller keypad. You could try contacting the developer, there may be something I am not seeing - https://fms.komkon.org/ColEm/ Or try another emulator like CoolCV - https://atariage.com/forums/topic/240800-coolcv-emulator-for-mac-os-x-linux-windows-and-raspberry/ Tom http://2600-daptor.com/
dualcam
Or another option, try joy2key to map the controller keypad to the key presses at ColEm expects. Tom http://2600-daptor.com/

That may be a better place to ask this question.
