I used to pick up issues from the one Atari store within 200 miles of me, and later on picked up issues from my user group meetings. I thought it was a pretty good read, as it covered pretty much the entire spectrum of products that Atari had ever released, including the Portfolio and game systems. See http://www.page6.org/ . Was around a long time - from 1983 to 1998! AFAIK, "AtariUser" only had 8 issues in 1991 and that was it. "AtariUser" referred to by the original poster was a US magazine published in 1991/92. I have seen reference to issues published in October, November and December 1991 and January to December inclusive 1992, which suggests there must be at least 15 issues and probably quite a few more, but I don't know for sure. Back issues are sometimes advertised on ebay (usually from US sellers). A magazine called "Atari User" was also published by Database Publications in the UK but had nothing to do with the US one. Its first issue was in May 1985 and it continued on monthly issue until June 1989 when it was merged with Page 6 (well, taken over really) after 4 volumes of 12 issues. Page 6 started as an independent mag in December 1982, was renamed "Page 6 Atari User" after the merger with Database Publications' Atari User in 1989 and then renamed again a couple of issues later as "New Atari User". New Atari User continued until Autumn 1998 - there were 85 issues of the mag altogether. Sorry I can't help much with the original question! Paul is correct, there are more than 8 issues: May 1991 - Premiere July 1991 August 1991 September 1991 October 1991 November 1991 December 1991 January 1992 February 1992 March 1992 April 1992 May 1992 June 1992 August 1992 October 1992 November 1992 October 1993 - Last and quite a straggler! 17 issues, so far. They're still in decent condition, and one of these days I'll get them archived. I still have the following issues: June '91 July '91 August '91 Sept '91 Oct '91 Sept '92 November '92 December '92 I had at least several other issues (I know I had the last one made) but those have been lost. This is the only month unconfirmed from May 1991 (premiere issue) through December 1992 (19 issues). Add the one in 1993 and we have 20 issues total. Its similar to cell-shading) The articles were always good and they always had good up to date news and information. I think I have every issue that was published, I think it was more then 8 though, but I'd have to check, I'll take a look in the library tonight. It probably ranks as my all time favorite Atari publication, even though I got burned with the ultra-cheap subscription offered in the very last issue.
