Looking to sell my collection and to cover bills. Using someone local to take care of listing and shipping. Anything with bc in the title is mine.

Im not sure why you would "hire" someone.

By the time you get done paying them and Ebay you will only realize about 1/2 the profit

The ads look nice, but again, why would you use them?

Maybe Im missing something here?

I agree Jerry!!!

maybe try your next test run with everyone here!!

I friend of mine and I have been talking about actually hiring someone we know to do this for us. Not going through eBay to get it done, but getting someone we know to do this from home for us. I'm not ok with it, he is all about the idea. Then again we have more then enough extra collectables and such to sell that we might just have to hire someone to help us with this, find more time off work some how, or stop picking up things when we find a great deal. Maybe a combination of the three.

Looking to sell my collection and started with a test run on the bay. Used someone local to me using the "sell it for me" section on ebay. Let me know what you think. All the games listed are mine and what I just picked up the last three weeks or so. Again this was just a test run to see if this person will do a good job. Cost is 35% of sales...this does inc all upfront charges (pics, listing fees and shipping).

US only? Any chance of exceptions on that? :ponder:

A month and a half with no answer - I'll take that as a "NO" then. :-D

Hi AtariL-

I hired the person that is listing to handle all the posting and shipping. I would ship to you no prob if it was me doing all the shipping work. If you want anything that gets posted send her a question via ebay and if I am asked I will tell her to open it to you. It is her policy not mine. I am sorry that I did not respond back when you first asked.

He's not doing the shipping himself and the girl he is using is too lazy/doesn't want to bother with shipping overseas.

I've heard of other people doing this if they have a ton of stuff to sell.

Me, I'd rather get the extra money. ;)
