JacobZu7zu7
Now we are getting closer to the end of the 2600 Knockout, How many K.O. players should be in the finals...? Vote the number # of PLAYERS you'd prefer to see in Final round! Just like before, even if Knocked out, everyones game score will count to the ranking total, even in the K.O. finals. 1. - 2 PLAYER FINAL (ONE ON ONE BATTLE) VOTE 1 2. - 3 PLAYER FINAL (3 PLAYERS BATTLE) VOTE 2 3. - 4 PLAYER FINAL (TOP FOUR BATTLE) VOTE 3 Anyone who's alive in the K.O. can vote, PM me or Post your vote. Now, there's a surprise game waiting for the finalists... here's a hint, it's by "CBS Electronics". There's also a multi-game finals planned... could be from 2 games, up to 4 games! Since this 2600 Knockout is so player heavy (over 20 people entered), it won't be a ONE game only final. Gorfy
I'll vote #3 (4 player). Since so many people played in this tournament, and the competition has been mighty fierce, I think more than 2 people deserve to be in the finals.
cparsley
I suggest everyone take a look at how other KOs handled the finals before making a vote, so that this one can be one for the ages Other HSC's that are/had a KO are.. Atari 5200 Atari 7800 Nintendo (NES) Genesis/MegaDrive ColecoVision Intellivision

Deteacher
I vote for 4-player final. And the CBS game better not be Omega Race. I don't have the booster grip.
Vocelli
I vote four players,3 games, 2 weeks, one winner!:
DT Kofoed
Four sounds good to me. But the medals should be named after VCS models... 4th place has to be the Jr.

cparsley
okay replace the Sears with the 4 -switch... As for the final, depends on scoring as well
JacobZu7zu7
6 votes for #3 - 4 player final You can change your vote, if so desired... Remember, more people in final will increase your odds to make it in, but also does make more challenge and greater chance to lose it. My vote is #2, 3 player final. So far, 6-1 It appears like a 4 wheelin' finals. Edited March 30, 2012 by JacobZu7zu7
JacobZu7zu7
okay replace the Sears with the 4 -switch... As for the final, depends on scoring as well Going to be standard scoring, with bonus K.O. (NON-RANKING) points for 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th place depening how many players are voted for the final. like this... 1st Gorfy + 8 2nd toymailman + 4 3rd Deteacher + 2 4th Mr. Bag - + 0 Edited March 29, 2012 by JacobZu7zu7
JacobZu7zu7
Four sounds good to me. But the medals should be named after VCS models... 4th place has to be the Jr. Heheh, you can also pick the console you want to represent, if made it to the finals, choosing favorite ATARI model or the one you're playing on! If I made finals I'd choose the Vader 4 switch 2600. Edited March 29, 2012 by JacobZu7zu7

Someone has to do the ol' 4-woodie proud for me, as I'll be lucky to even match my 5th place finish from last season in this here KO Tourney. Lauren Tyler
I don't care, I just say that all KO'ed players be un-KO'ed for the final games.
toymailman
Going to be standard scoring, with bonus K.O. It would be a shame to make it to the finals and then have the final game be one a finalist isn't so hot at. Having a few games will minimize this effect. 4 finalists, 3 games, 2 weeks, and 1 winner! JacobZu7zu7
It's official it's going to be, 4 players in final 3 / 4 games Two weeks and of course only 1 King of the Atari 2600 !
JacobZu7zu7
I don't care, I just say that all KO'ed players be un-KO'ed for the final games. Players scores will all be counted... noone will be KO'ed, rankings can still be altered etc... BUT those who lost in a K.O. round cannot be considered King of 2600 or Knockout champion. Knocked out players can still win individual games, stealing points along the way!
