I need an effective way of controlling a character on screen (not sprite) with emulated joystick in Classic99 I'm sat here trying all sorts, I can't seem to get hold of the right literature for this. The joystick is addressed with 4 and -4, but what is the code for the fire button ? I'm making a game that controls a little guy, Chad, around the screen, collecting gold coins in a minefield. The aim is to collect as much gold as you can without being blown into smithereens. The reason it has to be joystick controlled is because it's being made for my friend who has a Sony PSP and wants to run PSP TI99 emulator! That's also the reason why I need to know the fire-button code. Tursi Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Q will also respond as fire for Joystick 1 on the real TI, just due to the way that the split keyboard scan works in KSCAN.
