I intend to bring between $500 and $1000 cash to blow on stuff, and in addition I want to throw down for after hours. basicly.. when I go up yonder, I intend to bring two 5 gallon kegs and about three mixed cases of bottles of my employers product with me for chillin after hours. in case yer wondering.. thats approximitly 6 and a half cases of fine craft brewed beer, that yer not leagily allowed to drink outside of the state lines of virginia, but considering if al I do is sell cups to recoup cost, no laws are being broken right? but any one with an atariage pass, dont pay... get it? its a private party yadda yada.. in any case.. who's gonna show up? and who wants to throw down on the AH sean? I'll bring the beer if yer bringing the side dishes and entertainment. As mentioned elsewhere I'll be at the tournament booth and behind the acution podium for most of the weekend... which means I'll be doing most of my $$$ spending and meet-and-greet on Friday evening. If you're playing in one of the tournaments, LMK you're from AA and say hey! I'll be the redheaded male that looks like my avatar. There will be a few of us running around, I'm sure. My game plan is to bring ten gallons of the brown and lagar, and four mixed cases of the other beverages we have to offer, as well as one bottle of a special three year old barly wine, two bottles of a tripple style and one bottle of a hand made Braggot, the braggot being from a two year old five gallon batch, of wich.. there are only three bottles left n the world. now.. I want to have the area.. let everyone havea good old time and all be good.. its a after hours party at a convention for christs sakes!. the only thing I'm worried about is the notorius nature of gamers ive known in the past to be non embiders of any sort except for copius amounts of caffine laden sodas.. so.. what I'm bringing is actually .. small, but whatever any one wants to bring to augment the festivities is more than welcome. if yer drink of choice is that code red mountain dew, well.. drink it all you want, but dont be offended, if someone grabs it to pretend its redbull and vodca. I also expect no leftovers... but in any case.. I wanna go to convention to A: grab more games for my various consols, B: get some homebrew games for atari and that sweet look A/V mod kit for the atari, and C: a couple of cheapo working atrai consoles to hack up to make said AV mod work, and shove it all into a rack mount case like I saw on that website after I had been thinking about the same damn thing for a month. I also want to meet with the even orginizors to see whats all envolved in throwing don a con becouse I think my town would be the perfect spot to hold one for the east coast, being as Richmond is basicly smack dab in the middle of everything ( 24 hours there.. 24 hours the other way... by way of driving) y'know what I'm rambaling y'all carry on Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
