Hope you're getting a round in before tomorrow morning

 

I've finally managed to complete BBBBBBBBBBBBb on a single go (just) and competed Beer Shot+ (didn't realise it had an end (after level 10) until Scalak posted - this plus the small change I made to make the wobbly aimer seem to have made this a decent (basic) game

 

On Tapper I had a bunch of Level 10 goes with 3 drinks ok (101,575!) but not managed to craco(!) that pattern - think there's a way like most of the levels right from the start .... now onto PAM (The Dream) as I've found 2 ways of beating screen 2 and think I have a few ideas on screen 3... then bed

WAHOO! Managed to beat screens 3 and 4 of The Dream - I must have found every single way of falling off there is in the process! Had a crack at level 5 but that's it for now - very nice game but EXTREMELY difficult - at least you can press Option to start on levels beaten

Main Games:

Well done to Caco for being the only player (ever?) to beat Tapper round 10 Caco takes his first win of the season making it 7 different winners in 7 HSC rounds

 

Scalak and myself completed Beer Belly Burt's which turned out to be a very decent platformer (despite what the Atari User reviewer said at the time) the game is well thought out with a few shortcuts and the nice feature of starting on three sections makes it more playable. Shame there doesn't seem to be an ending screen - you can go back into the rooms so perhaps there is something tucked away to find or do, or perhaps I missed something?!

 

Bonus Games:

BEER SHOT+ was not bad as my small change made it a decent challenge - press break and list line 458 to see what I did!!! Was nice that the game had an end after level 10.

 

PONDERING ABOUT MAX's is really hard, but once you figure out how to do something it can be fun - I completed 4 screens on The Dream. Will play this some more. There's nothing on the internet for this game so if anyone finds out anything please post. To do the first screen on the dream you need to get to the top switch first - hint jump sideways! On level 2 you need to jump on and off the flying baddie to reach platforms! The idea on each level is to reach the guy who looks like a question mark (he might not appear at first).

 

Have fun, muster up the ammo and hopefully I'll see you all in Round 8

yes, B5 is not a bad game after all! We will be having a catch-up round soon so you can make some extra points, plus a few other special rounds planned over the next two months PAM is well worth a go - I worked out how to play Ultima III without instructons, but figuring out PAM which appears to be a simple platformer (2 of the 3 games anyway) seems a tougher challenge!!!

@trbb -I tried to jump on him dozens of times... no results

(PAM The Dream screen 2) I went up the right side to the top right edge jump left onto flying guy then jump off him right to the top corner - active the switch - then either :

(1) jump left on him from here and jump left to the top - you can activate this switch bit I think I just jumped on him again left to get to the end guy!

or perhaps easier:

(2) go back down to bottom left edge and jump right off spring onto flying guy then left to platform... Tricky!!! I'm not sure if there is a better/propper way of doing this level?! The 3rd and 4th screens are more fun and more logical

Didn't realise you were from Manc Bob. I just hope the league doesn't end up like the Spanish league with the same two teams at the top of the league each year. I've had a season ticket at Southampton for 25+ years and I'm looking forward to getting thumped by those big boys at the top of the table!

Hey I take great offence - Can you believe I'm a Man U fan not from Manchester :grin: I remember that grey shirt 6-3? game!!! (TV) Not been to watch for a few seasons now hopefully will be better play next season, I've no idea how we eneded up with so many points (think Youngs' cheating to get penalties kept us in it at the end )
