If the pure wimote can't be accepted, I could put it in a shell of plastic in the shape of a pistol. Problem is it's small and unconfortable, I bought and regret immediately. If the wiimote gives an accurate cursor to help with the aiming then it wouldn't really be the same. (Just my opinion of course) I can't test the real thing, so it's difficult to say if the wiimote is too accurate or not. I think the most important thing is the crosshair. In the emulator I can enable or disable it. I don't know if you can see the crosshair when using the lightgun. It makes a great difference in playing with or without crosshair. The emulator permits also a simple flashing crosshair when you shoot, I think this is what you see in the real hardware with the lightgun. --- This morning I've made 700k points easily with crooshair enabled. Now I lost in the first fase with crosshair disabled. I played a little more with crosshair disabled and I now can say it's very very difficult (or I'm really bad in aiming targets and the wii with his shooting games made me belive I was good...) So I have this important question: does the lightgun shows the crosshair all the time or it only flash it when you shoot? And I still don't know if the lightgun shows the crosshair all the time... So, I decided to play with keyboard atari joystick. I installed the Prosystem Emulator on my pc and I'm posting my score for the game using Atari 2600 joystick with Stelladaptor. 1) 814,000 (1 Wed) And more bonus points 2) 928,500 3) 1,070,500 (1 Thu) Crossed the million too! 4) 1,874,500 New HSC Record! Personally I like to visit all stages before defeating the boss for the first time, and then just go directly to the boss. I'm enjoying this since it offers me the rare opportunity to use my XE light gun However, I think I prefer the 2600 version of this game. I am using emulator d-pad lol... but when I shoot the falling ice or lava, it works around 50%... not good!
