That's fine, you have the win! I just started on level 4 to test the bug but ran out of time! Did you miss out the bonus fruit along the top (in the tree branch after each bomb) and this gave you enough time to climb across for the 'bonus' fruit? You still need to have time to get back to the detonator and to the tree top or did you not do this?

Scalak - Cool Gorilla Warfare Video, thanks for doing this Watching my own game and how someone else plays is very interesting

• You worked out to collect the bonus fruit on the way back after each bomb
  
• You missed a big time saver - hold fire and right after getting the fruit to get back to the ropes
  
• You can use fire and R to cross the ropes quicker!
  
• You can drop safely from 2 squares high to get off the ropes - quicker!
  
• Another shortcut I found is you can climb up the soldiers (they don't mind) so you can climb over the one on the big tree if he's in your way to reach the tree top, then go over him and down the other side - instead of waiting for him to descend!!!!
  

I tested the game to death (using Shift&Help to get to Level 4 quickly) at the time but perhaps the bonus fruit bug happens if you play through levels 1-3 and then unlock 4?! (will play again one day) Still the timer will limit how much you can score - I can't remember if the extra man was just once for beating level 4, if so the game is ok! Perhaps Gorilla Warfare 2 one day *

 

McKong... one day... one day someone should hack DK so we can start on the higher levels

 

* No one took me up on the getting started with BASIC programming but the offer stands - just post or mail me (there is the 4K game thread on the main forum to aim for) - OR - If someone wants to design some more screens for another version of Gorilla Warfare or has an idea for a simple game they would like me to code just let me know
