Rabbit 2600
I love making romhacks, and my current favorite system is the Atari 2600, but I'm looking at other consoles with arcade like gameplay and the Intellivision seems promising, I looked around the web but can't find any tools for sprite editing, do you know of any and can recommend any? cparsley
hands off the Armada!!! jk... for the most part, as there hasn't been as much homebrew on our fair console, there really isn't easy "set" tools to do as you like. Feel free to program to do so, most here would be happy to answer those questions for you.
intvnut
I haven't really written any ROM hacking tools of my own, beyond a disassembler. The disassembler isn't guaranteed to produce code that you can re-assemble, either. Rather, I intended it for educational purposes, to see how the various games work. I know Arnauld wrote a program that lets you edit Burgertime levels, but that's all I know of offhand.
cparsley
yah, I've been tinkering with that to make it do more than just the 7 levels (and the title screen "level"), as the game treats the "Mattel Electronics" screen as a level (neat way around the color bars normal Mattel screen Hopefully I'll get back to it this weekend.
