Wizard of Wor problem

Hi,

 

I have the harmony cartridge with the latest PAL50 firmware installed.

My console is PAL uk and i'm having no trouble loading PAL roms in it via the awesome Harmony cart.

However I'm having the following problem with the game Wizards of Wor:

After i hit the reset switch there is a short tune and then the game starts.

But when i try to move the joystick in all directions the hero just stands still, doesn't move at all.

 

I've tried with a lot of pal and also ntsc versions of the game.

I wonder if anyone else experienced this?

Did you try the controller on the right?

Whoa, amazing. I thought of anything except that

I know there are a couple of games that on single player one must use the port on the right (basketball comes to mind).

I'll try it later but i'm sure it will solve the problem thanks!

in the arcade player 1 was the right player, they kept that for the home version.

Of all the things programmers chose to replicate from arcade versions, they had to throw us all off with a goofy non-intuitive controller scheme.

 

Doesn't detract of course... love WoW!
