jcleverly
So I got a c64 after not having one for 20 odd years and having problems loading moon patrol from disk. On the disk I have moonpatrol.prg which is one block and mpobj.prg which is around 65 blocks. When I type load "moon patrol" ,8,1 it comes up with a white screen saying loading mpobj.prg. After a minute it comes up with ready and when I type in "run" it won't start the game. Just gives me another ready prompt. Any ideas? I've tried loading the mpobj file directly as well and it does the same thing. If not load the first file and LIST it to see if there's a SYS line that's somehow being missed, then load mpobj and SYS whatever the value was to see if that works. Mirage
Occasionally after loading, especially on some cracked versions, a "Run/Stop-Restore" is necessary to start the game. Worth trying.
