gardenmaniac
So.. just got my flashback 2 I purchased on ebay & one of the joysticks doesn't work..there were no instructions, I found them online thru a link on here. The screen comes up Adventure games or something & you have to use the joystick to choose a game.. so I hooked up one & nothing happened at all.. hooked up the other one & that works fine.. any suggestions? gardenmaniac
can the joystick be repaired?
RickR
Maybe. If all directions and the button are broken, could be a problem with the wire or connector. Keep in mind that any 2600 joystick/paddles will work with the FB2. If you have any others lying around, or see any at your local thrift store, they will work fine. thevnaguy
can the joystick be repaired? They are not that hard to repair. Just use a meter to check continutity in the wires from the plug to the joystick, then check for a any broken solder connections on the circuit board inside. Most likely if nothing is working the Ground wire is broken.
