exacto. he said he used a special glues so it couldnt be tampered with, so u risk peelin of the paint...

Sort of. It's not really easy to get the label to peel off in one piece. It tends to come off in small pieces. It shouldn't peel the box image (except near cut edges of the box). If you successfully peel the sicker off it will leave a lot of adhesive behind on the box. Getting that adhesive off is the real trick. Basically, if you manage to get the sticker off (and it is possible) the area that the sticker was on will never look 100% perfect (you may get close, but not 100%).

BTW, I still have 3 (out of 100 total) LEFT to be reserved! PM me if you guys want in on this very unique collection. I've had these 3 for over 24 hours now. It looks as if the last 3 are going to be the hard sale. Worse case, I put them up on ebay. Of course I might charge more at that point. :-o :)

Yeah, the office manager dropped my box with two of them in it onto a tile floor, it was all I could do to not scream at her...

But no worries, thanks to the excellent packing they're both in perfect condition...

Thanks pboland!!

I'm glad you and others are happy with the packing. Remember I'm a collector too. I've been burned by some sellers on ebay because of the way they packed an item. I don't want that to ever be me. With that in mind, the cardboard insert that is in each overlay set is there because I wanted it to be very difficult to crush. I originally was going to use styrofoam, but couldn't get it to look good enough. cardboard ended up being the way to go. I'm actually quite glad I went with the cardboard.

This project was a lot of hard work. Its taken almost an entire year to get to this point. I've learned a ton of things as it pertains to making boxes and inserts. Hopefully meaning the next project won't take quite as long. I was interviewed by the guy at the Intellivisionaries podcast about this project, but I'm not sure when they are going to be able to air that interview. Hopefully in the next podcast or the one after that. I don't know, but it is/was a great project and by far the most ambitious one I've ever done when it comes to classic video game stuff. It is going to quite hard to top this one.

Not sure if you need to top it, just come out with a blue set that complements the red one quite nicely. ;) Congrats on a very successful product launch. You should be proud of your work and I'm convinced it will find its place alongside the Orphan Overlays in the Intellivision canon. Yay you!
