+DZ-Jay
Just got mine today. Thanks pboland! The problem is that it came sealed... and I'm afraid to open it! It looks so pretty and perfect like it is, and I don't want to spoil it with my grubby fingers. So, I'll wait until I get some Sears games first, and then I'll open it. -dZ. +nurmix
Thanks for the kind words, cmart! The not-so-inside joke is that I talk WAY too much in the podcast. it's a reflection of my passion for this stuff, I guess. I'm really trying to leave more openings for Nurmix and Burgertime, but so far not a lot of success there. I was a high-school teacher in a former career, so I like having the floor and talking about things I've prepared, etc. And yes, Nurmix likes to yank my chain! I can only say that it is all well-deserved! I think it was just episode 4, Rick, since you did both interviews. Episode 3's interviews were both mine. As for our 'deep dive' review segments, I appreciate the research and information you bring to our discussions. I think it's a good dynamic. +nurmix
...I'll definitely go back and listen to the first three EPs over the holidays as I finally have some down time. It'll be great to listen to them as I unpack 100+ boxes of retro goodness in my underground lair. Thanks, cmart. When you listen to the first 3 episodes, I think you'll find it more balanced, as far as the amount Rick and I speak in the shows. But when it comes to Burgertime/William... you'll have to ask him. Oscar G.
I have just opened the overlays box and I have decided to share with you the beauty of this amazing set. Suffice to say I am extremely happy with the set and I encourage you to open the box and enjoy the sight, feel, touch and smell of the overlays. It is fun! I have my overlay collections in albums and I think this is one of the best ways to enjoy them. Best wishes to all!

It's got me wondering if I should make a sell a collector binder to match. Kind of like I did for the Colecovision Trading Cards: I could most likely make it a red binder with matching inserts to look like the Sears Overlay box (Of course with some extra text stating it is the Official collector binder). Just a thought. Let me know if you guys would be interested in something like that.

Oscar G.
Hey Oscar, where did you get that great album for the overlays? I would love to do that with one of my sets! Usually I take Pokemon Trading card albums and pimp them to make my own covers. Just like these:

Oscar G.
What about Intellivision Trading Cards? That would be fantastic. Something like INTV Funhouse but in a binder
+DZ-Jay
Wow! Oscar! Those look fantastic. I keep my loose overlays in a bundle with a rubber band (just like I did as a kid), and never considered putting them in protective packages like that. -dZ.

+pboland
Cool idea. I'd like to see a mock up. Okay, how about this: The binder in the picture above is not a full size binder. It is about the same size as Oscar G's pokemon binder. It would come with 8 overlay sleeve pages. Each page can hold four pairs of overlays. I originally wanted to use a red binder that matched in color to the box, but that is next to impossible. So it was a toss up between a white or black binder. I choose black. I than stylized the images to match the black, but still maintain the look of the Sears red. Let me know what you guys think.

Oscar G.
It looks very, very nice. Let us know if you decide to make these available. In the meantime, I will make my own version of the binder so as to match my other (Mattel, 3rd party, Orphan) binders
1980gamer
Too bad i missed out on this. But couldn't afford it. Maybe i can track down a set in the future. Same boat as you Dude.... Troy_Whelan
I would buy a binder - right now I just have the Intellivision overlays in the back of my ColecoVision binder. Troy

+pboland
Quick update: I just wanted to let everyone who is still on the waiting list that production of the final 20 copies has finally started. Sorry, it took me an extra week before I could start putting them together. They should be ready in about 2-3 weeks.
