What you guys think?

Rev,

Would you mind pointing the "Order Here" link on the Carol entry to "http://www.CarolVsGh...uy.html"? That one goes to the "Buy" page of the site. The link you have right now is a temporary one while the LTO HQ moves, and will go away soon.

Thanks! :)

-dZ.

P.S. Good page!

The Lost Caves of Kroz is being worked on now, and there is progress.....it will be done by the end of March 2013. We have the art.....I have given the author of the game until Mid February to get me two final screenshots for the box that won't change with the final release of the game. Also, he is going to work on some 'copy' on the back of the box.

We still have to decide on a box colour, but I am leaning toward purple for this title.

Rev, why don't you use the final box art for Paddle Party on your page? You have posted an unfinished cover.

As far as Defender of the Crown goes......we are going to do a kickstarter for that game. If there is enough support, we can get the game finished. We just have to go through the numbers to see if there is enough money to pay the programmer properly to finish the game, print the game materials, and pay for shipping of rewards.

Rev,

Your description of Minehunter on the page uses the Intelligentvision one.

"Take command of the advanced mine scanner aboard your helicopter and begin the hunt for all the mines laid down by the enemy. As you scan the minefield, drones will report back on how many mines are detected in an area. Use these markings to assist in finding all the mines. Hurry, your time is limited!"

There is no 'helicopter' in our backstory for the game. :-P

Are there public pics if set 2 out yet? Or, do we at least know which titles? Or a date? Questions!? :)

From the Intellivision.us forums (posted by Oliver)

thanks for your interest in the next set of reproduction boxes!

The project has made some progress...

These games will be part of Set II:

I guess he's not going by rarity alone since Thunder Castle and Commando are not rare at all. And even if he is just sticking to the simpler to make intv top flap boxes he should of chosen Triple Challenge or Mountain Madness instead.

I think it was loosely based on the survey from the linked thread here:

Mountain Madness didn't get enough votes. I'm not sure why Triple Challenge wan't even on there.

Don't forget this isn't just about "rarity". There are heaps of Thunder castle and Commando loose carts which people wanted boxes for.

Also I wonder if Oliver perfected his Fathom reproduction box. Which was a side project he had set himself. When I get my computer back next week (I leant it to my other half who's out of town at the moment), I'll check what he said and get in contact.

Here's a copy from an email in October Oliver sent me. The box titles had changed since the Intellivision.us posting (sorry I had forgotten)

"Ihe next set is almost finished and I am currently working on replicating "Fathom" which is a demanding task because of the silver foil it was printed on back then. I will let you know when the next set becomes available. It will contain Stadium Mud Buggies, Learning Fun I, Dig Dug, Triple Challenge, Diner and Thunder Castle (and maybe Fathom...). You can expect replica boxes "very close to the original", again."

so Triple Challenge replaces Commando. I have sent him an email and will let you know if there's any updates.
