adam242
18:27 @ 151 MPH. I think this is the best I'm gonna do... I may take another run at it tonight, but probably not. My hands are cramping and my cats need a little attention! Thanks for the fun! It's been 20+ years since I played this game heavily - pleasantly surprised my original disk still works. This was my first ever participation in the HSC. I've taken the survey for 2013 and I'll definitely take part as much as I can. -adam

+therealbountybob
You have reached your destination... and it's congratulations to DieMON for an impressive performance winning both the LA-NY and U.S. Tour, and that's without a joystick?!!! you'll have to get one setup for next season Scalak was late setting off but after stopping to do a mere 5000 piece jigsaw he came good to take 2nd place just beating an impressive performance by newcomer JK40001, great initials by the way This was a great game and I really enjoyed playing it again - we used to play this (with Mr.Case) taking turns on the U.S.Tour stages it works well as one person can tell you when to take fuel and when to hammer the pedal on the last few miles. The game could be better if you had some warning of the corners - especially the 'S' bends, they just appear and you smack into a car at speed. The game uses sound and colours well the green ones seem to pop up on me (probably my eyes) and thost darn little bikes hogging the road The cops, fuel, weather, mapping all make for a good challenge. We could do with a few more driving games on the Atari Final Tables: L.A. to N.Y.C 1st Top Speed DieMON 16:52 165 mph 12pts 2nd Late Start Scalak 17:36 141 11pts 3rd The One jk40001 17:45 157mph 10pts 4th SnowBlobBountyBob 17:56 154mph 9pts 5th adam242 18:27 151 8pts 6th Fast Caco 19:23 144 7pts 7th Speedy Sikor 19:27 143mph 6pts 8th more horsie power 19:35 142 5pts 9th hiswheelsareshaking orpheuswaking 22:25 125mph 4pts 10th Fulcrum Fallout 22:30 124mph 3pts 11th Dieselhead Dom (in his beamer320i) 23:07 119mph 2pts 12th Northern Norman (Champions_2002) 23:19 120mph 2pts 13th Long Gone McKong 24:16 115mph 1pt 14th Anvil dodging roadrunner 24:21 114mph 1pt 15th steady driver jblenkle 25:05 111 1pt U.S. Tour Bonus [Position Player Time Miles Points] 1st DieMON 71:37 10,878 12pts+1pt for winning! 2nd The One jk40001 72:02 10,942 12pts 3rd Asleep at the Wheel Bounty Bob 73:06 10,795 12pts 4th Beat High Revvin Renee for 12pts 76:00 11021 5th Beat Leadfoot Laurette for 11 pts 78:43 11021 6th Late Start Scalak 80:37 10,878 9pts 7th Beat Jersey Jessica for 10pts 81:38 11021 8th High Horsie Power 88:45 10,942 9pts 9th Beat Move Over Mary for 9pts 84:47 11021 10th Beat Daring Dan for 8pts 88:10 11021 11th Beat Jump Start John for 7pts 91:50 11021 12th Speedy Sikor 95:00 12,026 6pts 13th Beat 'Jet Engine Jim for 6pts 95:50 11021 14th Beat Careful Caroline for 5pts 100:11 11021 15th Beat Keep Ahead Kevin for 4pts 104:58 11021 16th beep beep it's the roadrunner 107:53 11,160 3pts 17th Beat Quick Start K.C. for 3pts 110:13 11021 Finish the course for 1pt please all check your scores and I'll try and do the Final Standings for Season 9 (if I can work out who everyone is!!).
