I noticed this in the older catalogs. It had several editions available(tournament, kids, adults version), and even separate utilities for sale.

I tried it out. It's not impressive, really, kind of a poor man's Wizardry with a ton of bugs.

 

It also has insane copy protection that defeated most back-up attempts for years until Copy-C. I also noticed when it crashed once, it overwrote things that made Extended BASIC no longer function correctly.

How does it corrupt Extended Basic, a module? Do tell!

 

I would presume we're not talking about damaging the cartridge. It probably overwrote utilities copied to low memory by the XB cartridge (much as the E/A cartridge does). The top of high memory is also used by XB for the XB program, line number table and variables. If those were compromised, the computer might also need to be rebooted.
