Keep an eye on the windsocks since they indicate the force and direction of the wind gusts that will blow you around the park. Select your balloons with the keypad. Inflate and deflate the balloons to reach the desired altitude by using each firebutton. But be careful that you don't inflate too much or you will 'bust' the balloon and have to land and replace it with one in your pocket. Avoid park hazards such as rides, fireworks, and animals to name a few, while attempting to land in the most crowded areas in the park to sell your balloons. Restock your supply of balloons by landing on the randomly appearing popcorn truck. GUST BUSTER offers a challenge for the entire family. I would like to see a Colecovision Knock Out and the Great Final with many systems, actually I'm posting this news in all HSCs. Now we're in the middle of this season, so I think it's good to start the Coleco Knock Out tourney before after this season and next season... What do you think? No need for joystick, just the side buttons and keypad on the coleco standard controller, and it works great for me. Scoring is low, 2,000 for selling all 25 balloons and 2,000 bonus for orbiting the park. The winds don't start changing direction until the 4th pass of the park. An extra man is awarded for every 10,000 points scored. Fly low below the fireworks just above the fireworks sign. Flying at the highest point at the top of the screen gets you safely past the fountain. Fly just above the palm trees to get past the bird. Fly low just above the building to get past plane safely. You can fly through the elephants head and trunk at lowest point, he can't hurt you, only the peanut can. Get a decent distance past the parachute ride, palms trees and fountain etc, before descending, a quick wind change will send you crashing into obstacles. When the wind does change, drop low to stop moving, and wait for it to change again. Keep 2-3 balloons as backup until you can replenish at the popcorn truck. If you lose a balloon in air, keep in mind you still have to switch to another balloon in order to rise or descend. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
