LoTonah
I don't know where you got that idea from. Woz was involved as a project overseer when it was known as the Apple //x (and was main designer on the overall architecture), but by the time the GS project was underway he had left Apple again. Look at the Apple Certificate of Authenticity. Do you see him on here? http://www.apple-collection.com/PhoAPLII/certificate.jpg Woz was largely responsible for the best computer Apple ever made, the IIgs. Which was also the last computer Woz made for Apple.
Hatta
Apple2History.org says Wozniak was quite involved in designing the general layout of the IIGS. And yes, I do see Woz on there.
LoTonah
Yes, but as a figurehead. Not as a member of the team. Apple2History.org says And yes, I do see Woz on there.

calimero
I enjoyed THE HOME COMPUTER WARS by Michael S. Tomczyk. You can find a PDF of it thru Google. I read book some times ago... but I just stumble on this: "Bil advised to have Lenard Tramiel autograph the books. However, when I pulled the books out (On the Edge and the Home Computer Wars), Lenard and Bil became very outspoken, saying that the latter book was full of falsehoods, that the author did not really have the information, that there were errors in the book. Lenard grudgingly autographed the book, but both of them were more at ease signing Bagnall's book." https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.sys.cbm/DhE8XQkZL7Y does anybody have clue why Lenard Tramiel would say something like that about "THE HOME COMPUTER WARS", especial when Michael S. Tomczyk work really close with Jack?!
