+therealbountybob Posted January 13, 2014 Author Share Posted January 13, 2014 Final Tables on Posts #1 & #2 We played a lot more classic games this season, I enjoyed having a serious bash at Rescue on Fractalus, completing Bruce Lee and the Mega Space Blastathon was a lot of fun too. Highlight of the season was having Philip Price (author of Alternative Reality) play on The Tail of Beta Lyrae, which remains an awesome game. New discoveries for me were Phobos, Arex & Jumpman/Jr. Brand new games Pac-Man Arcade, Asteriods Emulator and Sea Quest were excellent too. Best unknown bonus game? Alternity perhaps Worst game well I might say Inside but that is probably unfair as it may be a candidate for 'hardest game'.. so Devil May Care bonus games' The Heavenly Gates might take it even thought it wasn't really that bad, just was too easy/too long and it was coded in BASIC so I have to like it really Here are some no expenses spent certificates... make nice PC backgrounds, there is one for each of the Top 10 and a general one, if anyone else would like an individual one just let me know. See if you can spot what games they are from (hint one is not from this season and one is sort of not!) Again thanks for playing everyone and I hope to see you all (and some others!) in Season 11. Could it be McKong's year or perhaps adam242 will make it to the big time after his impressive debut season. Millipede Madness and the Space Blastathon. Also discovered a lot of games I somehow missed back in the 80s - like Jetboot Jack, Juice, Jumpman / Jumpman Junior, Juno First (I must have had some serious alphabetical blind spot). FireFleet and Arex were new to me too, and have become favorites. Thanks for the certificate, trbb... I'll proudly use that as my Windows wallpaper.
