GroovyBee
Making good progress on the game today. Just a few bugs to track down and the fuel pods and rocket take off sequence to put in.
GroovyBee
Just reworking the player and platform collision detection so that you can slide around them instead of "sticking" then its on to rocket launching.

GroovyBee
Can you tease us with a few pics ? I'm still trying to get the teaser ROM out. I think my brain needs some caffeine to wipe out a few more bugs.

Rev
Hey, GB, of course we are supposed to express our interest to purchase this game in this thread, but are we supposed to pay? Thanks.
GroovyBee
"Rocketeer Weekend" is almost over (UK time ) and the game has come a long way but still isn't ready for a teaser ROM. Sorry guys'n'gals . This is a little *.gif video :- <---- Click to animate - May take a while to load too The game play is far smoother in emulation and on a real PAL machine. I still need to fix the bug(s) in the fire left code and add falling fuel pods and rocket take off before I'll be happy to put a teaser ROM out.
GroovyBee
The good news is that it works on NTSC machines as well.

+DZ-Jay
payment was sent last week. i understand that GB is selling only a cart but why people are talking about box, manual...etc? i'm like a woman, all confused LOL It's a joke. Groovy said there won't be a boxed release and the thread focused on how cool the box would be. Someone should bring in the Bacon Hammer before Groovy gets pissed and leaves us without even the cart. :omg:

I'm not the least bit bothered about the constant lobbying. Its a free world and people can fantasise/dream/wish about whatever they want. It doesn't mean its going to come true. maximebeauvais
So if I understand, there will be a CIB special edition I'm in.
GroovyBee
So if I understand, there will be a CIB special edition If CIB stands for Cart Invisible Box then you are correct.
sh3-rg
If CIB stands for Cart Invisible Box then you are correct. That kind of box can be expensive to produce - you should gouge interest to see what people are willing to pay for one. I'll take 5 (boxes, not minutes).

Fushek
In a dramatic turn of events, Groovybee announces a CIB version of Rocketman available ONLY to those who haven't annoyed the hell out of him by requesting it constantly. (BTW, Groovybee, I haven't requested it ... just sayin')
