cncfreak
I love the Ultima Series but I definitely spent more time playing the Might & Magic series (not counting 9). This is very very exciting news and can't wait. Cncfreak
cimerians
Wow. Count me in. I only played 1, 2, 6, 7. I finished the first two but not 6 and 7 back in the 90's. Great news! Hope its still old school turn based and it sure looks like it!
+Gemintronic
That video was RETARDED. Why have a minute of flashy wang dookie CGI icons flying about and the 25 seconds of actual subject related stuff? I kept looking for the skip button. Gabriel
Hmmm. Very interesting. It looks like a traditional old school Wizardry style game. The combat looks to be turn based/choose options type of style. Exploration seems to be moving along a grid instead of free-form Doom style. However, instead of simply using a few JPGs for monsters, they've gone all out and made the graphics look modern with modeled enemies complete with attack animations. I've been wondering when someone would finally do something like this instead of the contemporarily primitive versions of this style of game we've been seeing in things like Etrian Odyssey. Ever since X-Com: Enemy Unknown, I figured it was only a matter of time before someone would grab a classic RPG franchise and give the classic style combined with modern visuals a try. If I'm interpreting the gameplay bits properly, then this looks VERY promising. That said, I don't like playing games on PC. I know it's silly and arbitrary, but for whatever reason I just can't really enjoy games on the computer anymore.
VW
Hope this is more like M&M 4-6 and less like all the rest.
FastRobPlus
My favorite RPG is MM3, and the voice samples in the video are from the MM3 intro. That's a good sign.
cncfreak
Welp early release version came out yesterday on Steam. Yes it has the ugly Uplay attached to it but I've really enjoyed the few minutes I've played so far. Also looks like a 2014 release. Also no free movement all grid based which is fine for me as i loved MM3-5. Edited August 20, 2013 by cncfreak
