Austin
Damnit Capcom! Not another... *sigh* This will probably be a day one purchase for me.
Pixelboy
Very interesting. Now if Capcom could only remake all the classic Mega Man games with these kinds of graphics, I'd be in Mega Heaven.
cimerians
cool....I used to play Chip and Dale and some others on NES. Cant remember but this was a good one.
godslabrat
Ehhhh... $15 for a download? I'd rather just play the NES game with the original graphics.

Classic Pac
This one is for old school gamers like me. I think it looks wonderful!!!
Cybergoth
"Please Stop E-mailing me for a Quote" - Tim Schafer :lolblue: I hope it sells well, so they will remake Duck Tales 2 also. (This one I already have for the NES, but I'll definitely buy the sequel )
bomberpunk
I'm probably the minority here but I had more fun with Rescue Rangers. but this is still awesome and i'm ready to throw my money at it even if it is a digital download.
Reaperman
I can ignore resident evil, mega man--turns out I can even ignore new street fighter games, but for some reason, I want this game. I want it on sale, though.
Vic George 2K3
Then we'll get the whiny pusses who say that DuckTales should ONLY BE DONE IN 8-BIT GRAPHICS!!! The Mega Man series with those type of graphics for DuckTales Remastered? BRING IT ON!!! Edited March 23, 2013 by Vic George 2K3
NightSprinter
Yeah. I'll.. "pester" the uppers at my employer to see if we can't get some more stuff from Capcom remastered by WayForward..
Reaperman
Then we'll get the whiny pusses who say that DuckTales should ONLY BE DONE IN 8-BIT GRAPHICS!!! I'll be glad when this lame '8-bit' graphics fad blows over. It's being done to death by lazy artists and never looks right anyway. Once the hipsters start settling down and having kids it should vanish pretty quickly. I'm pretty sure they're the ones driving that crap. godslabrat
Well, DuckTales had awesome graphics 20 years ago. I say they're still awesome graphics. I don't need a new skin on the game to want to play it, and it doesn't seem like $15 worth to me. If you're going to go trough that much effort, might as well actually make a new game, or a significant remix of the old one. The whole idea of "focus all our energy on the graphics, forget the actual gameplay" is indicative of what's wrong with the industry today. Capcom is trying to bank on an older, proven game so they don't have to come up with anything new. I at least hope they can spell "money" correctly this time around.
onlysublime
this is a scenario that can't be won. if a game is remade with new graphics and new mechanics, people will complain that they tinkered with classic graphics and gameplay that didn't need touching. if you just remake the graphics but leave in the old mechanics, people will complain that it's just a fresh coat on an old game. if you just rerelease a classic as-is, people will complain that it's a money grab. man, you people are hard to please!
Algus
Supposedly they are getting the voice cast from the show. I don't care how bad this game is, they've just earned my $

NightSprinter
Heh, not a damn thing Disney can do about that franchise Cybergoth. That is up to Capcom alone.

Chuck D. Head
Here is a gameplay video from PaxE; it gives a good look at the gameplay, voice acting and updated music. It's not like they just updated the graphics, it is more of a new game based on the old themes and the voice actors from the show put it over the top for me. No problem spending $15 on this. http://wiiudaily.com/2013/03/check-out-this-gameplay-video-of-ducktales-remastered-from-pax-east/
NightSprinter
Oh REALLY now? Yeah, that PAX preview is also making it out to look like a new or long-lost episode in game format. *happily mumbles something under his breath about buying all platform releases just to enjoy for himself and any guests that visit*
