Cobra Kai
After some more play time, I'm actually surprised this game isn't multiplayer. The map layout seems like it was designed with MP in mind, as the sections of the city can be rather circular, not in shape, but in that you can run all around and not get stopped by dead ends. And, with the roller coaster rail system, you can zip around to other sections and land on rooftops and other hard to access areas; i.e. sniper positions etc..., there's also numerous 'weapon/ammo dumps' conveniently scattered throughout every stage, as I'm never short on ammo. I can't imagine you'd ever need to waste your money at vending machines for any kind of ammo. I wouldn't be shocked to find out multiplayer wasn't exactly ruled out until well into development. Vic George 2K3
Multiplayer in any FPS game should be treated like DVD and Blu-Ray bonus features, NOT like an essential feature for any FPS game. That said, I can see where rail-jumping could be useful for a multiplayer version of the game.
StoneAgeGamer
I got PC version and a pretty good gaming rig. Honestly after completing BioShock Infinite first time I think it has to go down as one of my favorite games of all time. IMO its just an amazing damn game. Anything I could complain about would basically just me forcing a complaint. I don't even really like FPS games either.
Scotterpop
My God, what an amazing game. It really does push the boundaries of what's possible with storytelling in this medium. Irrational Games really outdid themselves with this one. It's still a bit too soon to say if it's a better game than the first Bioshock, but it's easily one of the best games I've ever played. It's that good. The gorgeously rendered streets of the floating city immediately pull you in to its mind-bending narrative, and you very quickly find yourself caring for these characters in a way that's usually reserved for movies or literature. So don't let anyone spoil any of its mysteries before you play it because it's one helluva good ride. One you'll be thinking about long after it's over. Lord Helmet
Finished last night. Amazing game. Not sure if it's better than the original...might be a toss up. Some real 'holy shit' moments at the end!
danwinslow
Evaluated as a FPS, I did not like this game...it felt more like a 'choose your own adventure' game that happned to have a bunch of shooting in it. Particularly didn't like the ending. Good story though. Edited April 11, 2013 by danwinslow
