+Cafeman
When I click on a thread from my work PC, there is a several-seconds delay while it seems to be looking to include Facebook.com content onto the web page. I think because our firewall blocks Facebook , that it times out after a while. It's annoying and I wish I could turn off this 'feature'. IS there any way to de-activate these types of scripts or checks? Frankly, I don't care what content is on Facebook and I'm not sure why the forum is checking it. I use an older version of IE from work, and sometimes from home, since I still have Windows XP on these PC's - not sure if that matters. I think it's securite/firewall-related. +Cafeman
I think the problem was the outdated IE browser I was using. I didn't realize I still had IE7. At lunch, I upgraded to IE8 and the reported issue seems to have gone away.
